Full-Dress Rehearsal for Independence Day 2024 Conducted in Anantnag

Anantnag, August 13 :A full-dress rehearsal for the Independence Day 2024 celebrations took place at Hamayun Muzammil Degree College, Khanabal, marking a key event in the preparations for the upcoming national festivities. The rehearsal highlighted the readiness and coordination of various contingents and participants.

Shri Abdul Aziz, Additional District Development Commissioner Anantnag, served as the chief guest for the event. He hoisted the National Flag and took the salute during the impressive March-past, which featured contingents from the District Police Anantnag, Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), ITBP, Indian Reserve Police (IRP), Home Guard, Women Police, Special Police Officers (SPOs), the District Police Band Anantnag, and NCC cadets.

The ceremony also included a series of captivating cultural performances by school students and local artists, which infused the event with a vibrant and festive atmosphere. These performances not only celebrated the region’s rich cultural heritage but also emphasized the importance of Independence Day.

Among those in attendance were Shri Sajad Ahmad, SP HQRS Anantnag, and Shri Rouf Baba, DYSP DAR Anantnag, along with other senior officers from the Police and Civil Administration.

The rehearsal demonstrated the meticulous planning and dedication of all involved, setting a high standard for the forthcoming Independence Day 2024 celebration in Anantnag. The event underscored the strong coordination among various departments and the impressive display of patriotism, ensuring a memorable and grand celebration ahead.
