Stree 2 star Shraddha Kapoor is receiving a wave of love for the movie. But it’s not just her professional life that’s making headlines — rumour has it she’s about to upgrade her personal space as well. According to a report in the Hindustan Times, Shraddha is set to become Akshay Kumar’s new neighbour, moving into Hrithik Roshan’s current sea-facing apartment in Juhu. Interestingly, Akshay Kumar, who had a cameo in Stree 2, lives in a luxurious duplex apartment in the same building that Shraddha is reportedly moving into, along with his wife, Twinkle Khanna, and their children.
Initially, there was buzz that Varun Dhawan, along with his wife Natasha Dalal and their daughter, would be moving into Hrithik’s apartment, but those plans didn’t materialise. In fact, Varun also made a special appearance in Stree 2 as Bhaskar Sharma from Dinesh Vijan’s Maddock Supernatural Universe, Bhediya, which released in 2022. Meanwhile, Akshay Kumar appeared in Stree 2 as a patient in a psychiatric hospital in Bhopal. He has the key to taking down Sarkata, the villain in the film. His character tells Rajkummar Rao, Abhishek Banerjee and Pankaj Tripathi that he comes from the lineage of the vicious villain. However, the post-credits scenes reveal there is more to Akshay’s cameo than what meets the eye and fans cannot wait to see what’s in store for his character.
Produced by Maddock Films, Stree 2, starring Shraddha Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao, Aparshakti Khurana, Abhishek Banerjee and Pankaj Tripathi, has turned into an all-time blockbuster, thanks to its massive box office performance. After recording the biggest second weekend of all time, the film continued to perform exceptionally well, even on its third Monday, benefitting from the partial Janmashtami holiday.
On its 12th day, horror-comedy Stree 2 collected Rs 17 crore at the box office, according to Sacnilk. This brings the film’s total earnings to Rs 401.55 crore, edging closer to the Rs 450-crore milestone. On its second Monday (August 26), the film saw a 29.02% occupancy in Hindi theaters, as per the report. At the worldwide box office, Stree 2 made Rs 589 crore.
