Shri Sajad Ahmad Shah-JKPS assumes Charge as SSP Awantipora

Awantipora 16 November 2024:  Shri Sajad Ahmad Shah-JKPS assumed the charge as the Sr. Superintendent of Police Awantipora. The new incumbent was warmly received by Senior Police officers at the District Police Headquarters, where a guard of honour was presented in his honor.

The outgoing SSP, Shri Ajaz Ahmed zargar-JKPS, handed over the baton to the new SSP Awantiporea Shri Sajad Ahmad Shah-JKPS in a brief but impressive function.

On assuming the charge, SSP Awantipora held an introductory meeting with Senior Police officers of the District and impressed upon officers to work with dedication and enthusiasm to mitigate problems faced by the people of Police District Awantipora. He also stressed the need for a team work and has directed officers to have their doors open for the general public.
