SHOPIAN, MARCH 03: As per directions of Director Ayush, Dr. Nuzhat Bashir Shah, a Non- Communicable Disease (NCD) screening drive was held today at AHWC Zarkan Shopian.
The event was organised by Medical Officer Zarkan along with other staff aiming to promote early detection and prevention of non- communicable diseases among the local community.
The screening drive witnessed active participation of the local population, thus playing a crucial role in strengthening preventive healthcare and ensuring early intervention for various health conditions.
During this screening drive, more than hundred people were screened for hypertension along with 70 people who were screened for diabetes.
