Srinagar, Mar 25 (KNO): Tourists and locals visiting Srinagar’s famous Badam Vaer have expressed frustration over frequent call drops and poor mobile network connectivity in the area.
Visitors said they were unable to make calls or access mobile data due to the weak signal, affecting their ability to stay connected. Many tourists rely on mobile networks for navigation and communication, making the issue particularly inconvenient.
“We were trying to book a cab online, but the network was so poor that we couldn’t even load the app,” said a visitor while speaking with the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO).
Another visitor from Delhi said he was trying to make a video call to his family to show them the beauty of the place, but the call kept disconnecting.
Moreover, local residents also voiced concerns, urging authorities to address the problem. “We often come here to relax, but the poor network makes it difficult even to attend important calls,” said Bashir Ahmad, a Srinagar resident.
Lastly, visitors and locals have appealed to telecom providers to improve connectivity in the area and resolve the issue at the earliest—(KNO)
