Rs 27.07 cr released to SMC for street lights installation: CM

Jammu, Mar 25 (KNO): Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah Tuesday said that an amount of Rs. 27.07 Cr. has been released to the Srinagar Municipal Committee for installation of street lights.

The Chief Minister was replying to a question raised by Shamim Firdous in the Legislative Assembly.

He informed the House that as per the tripartite agreement between HUDD, JKPDD & EESL, M/s. EESL is maintaining installation along with warranty replacement during the project period of 07 years ending 2027.

He further said that the restoration of defunct street lights is carried by the concerned—(KNO)
