The latest episode of Celebrity MasterChef saw the top five finalists taking on professional chefs Gaurav Malhotra, Ishjyot Suri and Reena Samby in an intense cooking battle. The makers of the show recently released a promo of the episode on the official Instagram page of Sony TV, which showcases Nikki Tamboli presenting her layered prawn dish to the judges, earning their applause for her impressive show of culinary skills.
The clip opens with judges Ranveer Brar and Vikas Khanna introducing the contestants to the three popular chefs they were expected to challenge. A brilliant showcase of culinary competition follows as they all put their best foot forward to win the challenge. Nikki then beautifully presents her layered prawn dish, prompting Chef Vikas Khanna to remark, “It’s like eating at a top Michelin-starred restaurant.” Ranveer Brar joined him to praise the former Bigg contestant as he said, “Nikki is back,” and awarded her the signature spoon tap.
Given their feedbacks and special spoon tap, Nikki starts screaming with joy and excitement, expressing her contentment. The episode also saw a heartfelt moment when Farah Khan spotted a personalised coffee mug at Nikki’s station. The mug featured her photos with her boyfriend, Arbaz Patel. Explaining the reason behind why she bought the mug with herself, Nikki shared, “For the past two days, my dishes weren’t great. So he sent this mug as a good luck charm. He couldn’t be here, but he sent this.” Chunky Panday, the guest for the episode, added with a smile, “If you don’t win it, steal it!”
Meanwhile, there was no elimination, ensuring contenders a step closer to the finale.
Celebrity MasterChef is inching towards its finale this week. Ahead of the conclusion, all the top five finalists are putting their best efforts, competing against each other to secure the coveted trophy. Among the finalists are Rajiv Adatia, Gaurav Khanna, Nikki Tamboli, Tejasswi Prakash and Faisal Shaikh. The show premiered earlier this year on Sony TV with contestants like Usha Nadkarni, Archana Gautam, Dipika Kakar and Kabita Singh.
