KUPWARA, APRIL 19: A review meeting regarding registration on the JK-SAMADHAN Portal and other matters concerning the education sector was held under the chairmanship of the Additional Deputy Commissioner,(ADC), Handwara, Javed Naseem Masoodi, here.

The meeting was attended by the Principal of Government Degree College Handwara, representative from Government Degree College Langate, Deputy Chief Education Officer Kupwara (HQ Handwara), and all Zonal Education Officers (ZEOs) of the Handwara Sub Division.

During the meeting, it was informed that the staff of all educational institutions and colleges in the region have successfully registered on the JK-SAMADHAN Portal, while the registration of students is currently in progress.

The ADC directed the concerned authorities to expedite the student registration process and instructed all ZEOs to initiate registration starting from students of Class 9 onwards.

Various other issues pertaining to the education sector were also deliberated during the meeting. Notably, the land issue concerning Government Degree College Langate was brought under discussion.

The ADC emphasized timely action and coordination among stakeholders to ensure smooth functioning and effective implementation of educational initiatives in the region.
