JAMMU, Apr 20: Amid ongoing inclement weather conditions, authorities have ordered the closure of all government and private schools across Leh and Kargil districts from April 21 to April 23, 2025.
The decision comes in response to persistent rainfall and fresh snowfall in the region, which have raised concerns over landslides and rockfalls.
Officials said the precautionary move is aimed at ensuring the safety of students and staff as weather patterns continue to remain unpredictable.
Meanwhile, the administration has advised residents to stay updated with official bulletins and avoid travel in vulnerable areas.
