Kulgam, July 21: Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Monday caught a Patwari red-handed while accepting a bribe at Patwari Halqa Banimulla, falling under Tehsil Pahloo in South Kashmir’s Kulgam district.

An official confirmed that the accused, identified as Mushtaq Ahmed Khatana, son of Mohammad Ayoob Khatana, a resident of Kund, was caught red-handed by ACB sleuths while accepting a bribe.

The trap was laid based on a complaint, and the operation was conducted swiftly by the ACB team.

Further details into the case are awaited.
