In a spirited celebration of national pride and unity, Anantnag Police, in collaboration with the District Administration, today organised a Mega Tiranga Rally from Sports Stadium Mehandi Kadal to Janglat Mandi, Anantnag.
The rally witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, youth, civil society members, and government officials, all waving the Tricolour with patriotic fervour. The event aimed to reinforce the values of unity, integrity, and the sacrifices made for the country’s freedom.
Participants gathered at Sports Stadium Mehandi Kadal, where the programme commenced with the singing of the National Anthem. Led by senior police and administrative officers, the rally proceeded through the main streets of Anantnag, resonating with slogans of patriotism and harmony.
Speaking on the occasion, senior officers highlighted that the Tiranga is not only a symbol of our sovereignty but also a reminder of our collective responsibility to uphold peace, brotherhood, and development.
The rally concluded at Janglat Mandi with a pledge to work for the progress and unity of the nation. The event reflected the commitment of Anantnag Police and the District Administration to strengthen the bond between the public and the administration through participatory and people-friendly initiatives.
