Inclement Weather: 22 People Rescued By SDRF After Being Trapped In River Lidder In Anantnag

Srinagar, August 27(GNS): At least 22 people were rescued by the SDRF after they were trapped in the Lidder River at the Darshan Gam area of Ashmuqam in South Kashmir’s Anantnag district.

An official told GNS that a rescue operation was conducted by the SDRF Anantnag at Darshan Gam today after 22 people were trapped in the Lidder River.

All 22 people were safely evacuated through the hectic efforts of the SDRF rescue team and the local Anantnag police, he said.

Meanwhile, Locals have hailed the swift action for saving precious lives.(GNS)
