Seeks fresh media policy for equitable distribution of advertisements

Srinagar, Oct 30 : The Kulgam legislator, Mohammad Yousuf Tarigami on Thursday sought a fresh media policy for the distribution of advertisements and said that the freedom of press as well as the reporters must be protected.

Speaking in the House, Tarigami, as per the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) said that the media has been facing difficult times as several media organizations are not being even provided the advertisements.

He said that a fresh media policy must be framed. “Besides, we must protect the freedom of the press and our reporters,” Tarigami said—(KNO)
