Srinagar, Nov 1 (KNC): Senior JKAS officer Naseer Ahmad Wani assumed charge, as the new Director of School Education, Kashmir.
Wani succeeds Dr. G.N. Itoo, who previously served as Director and is now appointed Director General of the School Education Department, Kashmir.
As per news agency Kashmir News Corner — KNC, Speaking after taking over, Wani highlighted his commitment to strengthening the education system in the Valley, focusing on improving quality learning, promoting transparency, and ensuring effective implementation of educational reforms.
He held discussions with senior departmental officers and reviewed ongoing initiatives aimed at enhancing infrastructure, teaching standards, and academic outcomes in government schools. (KNC)
