Soldier Dies After Fall from Hight in Baramulla

Baramulla, Jan 9 (KNC): A soldier died after slipping and falling from a height while proceeding for night patrolling duty at Sheeri area of Baramulla district.

Official sources told news agency Kashmir News Corner (KNC) that the deceased has been identified as Hira Lal, a resident of Haryana, and was posted at Fathagard, Sheeri Camp.

They said the soldier accidentally slipped and fell from a height, following which he was found unconscious and immediately rushed to Government Medical College (GMC) Baramulla. However, doctors at the hospital declared him brought dead.

The body of the deceased has been kept at the mortuary of GMC Baramulla for post-mortem and other medico-legal formalities. Further proceedings are underway. (KNC)
