Srinagar, Jan 27 (KNC): Adverse weather conditions, including continuous snowfall, disrupted air operations at Srinagar International Airport on Tuesday, leading to the cancellation of as many as 25 flights so far, officials said.

An official, told news agency Kashmir News Corner — KNC, that poor visibility and prevailing weather conditions compelled airlines to suspend flight operations in the interest of passenger safety.

He said that all 25 cancellations were made as a precautionary measure.

Passengers have been advised to stay in close contact with their respective airlines for the latest updates regarding flight schedules, rescheduling and alternate arrangements.

Airport authorities have urged travellers to check flight status before proceeding to the airport to avoid inconvenience. (KNC)
