Srinagar, Jan 29 (KNC): Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Thursday strongly condemned the recent attacks on people from Jammu and Kashmir in different parts of the country, saying such incidents are unacceptable and must be brought to an immediate end.

In a post on X, as per news agency Kashmir News Corner — KNC, Chief Minister said that the recent series of attacks, including those reported from Himachal Pradesh and the latest incident elsewhere, cannot be tolerated. He asserted that it is contradictory to claim that Jammu and Kashmir is an inalienable part of India while people from Kashmir are forced to live in fear for their lives in other states.

CM Omar Abdullah said that his government will intervene wherever necessary and take all required steps to ensure that such incidents are not repeated.

He also expressed hope that the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, would sensitise other states to address the issue on similar lines and ensure the safety and dignity of people from Jammu and Kashmir. (KNC)
