Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan have been married for over 17 years now. However, did you know, Aishwarya and Abhishek once revealed that they would fight ‘every day’ during their initial years of marriage? Yes, in two separate interviews, Abhishek and Aishwarya confirmed that they would fight every day. But Abhishek had clarified that they weren’t heated fights. It were more like disagreements.
Back in 2010, in an interview with Vogue India, Aishwarya and Abhishek were asked how frequently they fought. Aishwarya admitted, “Oh, every day.” Abhishek explained, “But they’re more like disagreements, not fights. They’re not serious, they’re healthy. It’d be really boring otherwise.”
Journalist Anupama Chopra asked Aishwarya about the same in a later interview. She began by asking, “Abhishek said that the two of you feel like ‘a newly married old couple’, What does that mean.?” Aishwarya replied, “We have been so comfortable with each other. I think the ‘newly married’ aspect is that it’s wonderful what we share because it is based on such a friendship.”
The host then asked about her about the fight comment. “He also said that you two fight every day, is that true?” the actress was asked. Aishwarya wittily replied, “That’s what I mean when I say that we have been together for like 10 years. We were normal from the beginning, even before marriage.”
Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan have been married for 17 years now. The couple shares a daughter, named Aaradhya Bachchan. However, their recent public appearances have the internet speculating that all might not be good between Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai. While Aishwarya chose to make a solo appearance at a recent wedding despite the Bachchan family present at the wedding as well, Abhishek was seen travelling to Paris alone.
