Jammu: A head constable was killed while as an assistant Sub Inspector of Police was injured in an ongoing encounter in Billwar area of Kathua district.An official told that during intial firefight, a head constable was killed also one assistant sub-inspector of Police was injured.The injured ASI was immediately evacuated to hospital for advanced treatment, they said.Meanwhile, the operation in the area was underway when this story was being filed.(GNS)
