ICC Champions Trophy: All squads announced so far

Champions Trophy cricket: Temba Bavuma, Hashmatullah Shahidi and Najmul Hossain Shanto were named the captains of South Africa, Afghanistan and Bangladesh respectively

Bangladesh decided to leave out experienced all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan and wicketkeeper Litton Das from their Champions Trophy squad while spinners Keshav Maharaj and Tabraiz Shamsi made it to the South Africa squad.

A fit-again Ibrahim Zadran was included in Afghanistan’s 15-man Champions Trophy squad and New Zealand included five seamers including Ben Sears, Nathan Smith and Will O’Rourke in their squad for the hybrid tournament. India and England are among the teams yet to announce their squads for the prestigious tournament, while Australia confirmed Pat Cummins will lead their squad in Pakistan and UAE — the host countries.

Here are all ICC Champions Trophy 2025 squads announced so far:

South Africa squad: Temba Bavuma (captain), Tony de Zorzi, Marco Jansen, Heinrich Klaasen, Keshav Maharaj, Aiden Markram, David Miller, Wiaan Mulder, Lungi Ngidi, Anrich Nortje, Kagiso Rabada, Ryan Rickelton, Tabraiz Shamsi, Tristan Stubbs, Rassie van der Dussen.

Australia squad: Pat Cummins (captain), Alex Carey, Nathan Ellis, Aaron Hardie, Josh Hazlewood, Travis Head, Josh Inglis (wicketkeeper), Marnus Labuschagne, Mitchell Marsh, Glenn Maxwell, Matthew Short, Steve Smith, Mitchell Starc, Marcus Stoinis, Adam Zampa.

Afghanistan squad: Hashmatullah Shahidi (captain), Rahmat Shah, Rahmanullah Gurbaz (wicketkeeper), Ikram Alikhil (wicketkeeper), Ibrahim Zadran, Sediqullah Atal, Azmatullah Omarzai, Mohammad Nabi, Gulbadin Naib, Rashid Khan, AM Ghazanfar, Noor Ahmad, Fazal Haq Farooqi, Naveed Zadran, Farid Ahmad Malik.

Bangladesh squad: Najmul Hossain Shanto (captain), Mushfiqur Rahim (wicketkeeper), Towhid Hridoy, Soumya Sarkar, Tanzid Hasan, Mahmudullah, Jaker Ali, Mehidy Hasan Miraz, Rishad Hossain, Taskin Ahmed, Mustafizur Rahman, Parvez Hossain, Nasum Ahmed, Tanzim Hasan, Nahid Rana.

As statement issued to Srinagar Mail reads that, “The achievement was made possible under the guidance and encouragement of Nuzhat Gul, Secretary, Jammu & Kashmir Sports Council; Anissa Nabi, Nodal Officer, Khelo India, JKSC; Javid-ul-Rehman, Divisional Sports Officer (Central), JKSC; and Nusrat Gazala, Divisional Sports Officer, Kashmir.” Special appreciation was extended to Coach Sajjad Ahmad Dar of the Khelo India Thang-Ta Centre, Tral, for his dedicated coaching and mentorship, which played a crucial role in preparing the athletes for national-level competition.
