Gold Rate Today in India: Gold prices continued to remain weak after hitting a record high. On Friday morning, the yellow metal was trading slightly lower at Rs 80,090 per 10 grams for 22-carat and Rs 87,370 per 10 grams for 24-carat in Mumbai.

Silver too faced weak momentum, trading lower than the previous day.

The weakness in bullion was seen on MCX too. Gold was down 0.48 per cent at Rs 84,787 per 10 grams, while silver fell 0.84 per cent to trade at Rs 94,743 per kg.

Known for its unmatched purity, 24-carat gold continues to attract buyers seeking premium quality. Meanwhile, 22-carat gold, prized for its durability and timeless charm, remains a favourite among jewellery enthusiasts and investors alike, striking a balance between elegance and practicality.

On the other hand, silver prices witnessed weak movement, falling below the Rs 1 lakh-mark at Rs 98,000 per kg in the spot market across major Indian cities.
