Elderly Man Injured in Lightning Strikes Wadder Bala, Handwara

Handwara, Apr 8 (JKNS): An elderly man sustained injuries after lightning struck Wadder Bala village in Handwara area of north Kashmir’s Kupwara district on Tuesday evening.
An official told news agency JKNS that an elderly man was injured after lightning strikes in the area.
He identified as Abdul Subhan Mir (65), son of Gh Qadir Mir and a resident of Wadder Bala, was immediately shifted to GMC Handwara for treatment, official said.
He said that the injured person is out of danger and in stable condition.
The sudden lightning strike created panic in the area, though no other casualties or damage were reported. (JKNS)
