Rahul Sahai, Chairman of the Indian Chamber of Commerce (ICC) Jammu Chapter, felicitated Hon’ble Chief Minister of Jammu & Kashmir, Jenab Omar Abdullah, with a traditional shawl and a sapling, symbolizing respect and sustainability, at the prestigious ICC Aviation & Tourism Conclave 2025 held at Hotel Le Meridien, New Delhi. Mr Sahai was joined by his counterpart from kashmir , Sh. Khalid Wani, Chairman of ICC Kashmir Chapter, in extending the warm gesture.

The event witnessed participation from distinguished dignitaries including ICC National President Sh. Abhyuday Jindal and Sh. Subhash Goyal  Chairman of the ICC National Tourism Committee , Sh V Vaulnam IAS Secretary Civil Aviation Ministry of Civil Aviation GOI , Sh Suman Billa IAS Additional Secretary ministry of Tourism GOI with various heads of Airlines , tourism & travel associations of India  . Mr. Sahai was part of the ceremonial lamp lighting during the inaugural session, marking the beginning of the conclave.

Issuing a press statement , Rahul Sahai thanked the Hon’ble Chief Minister for gracing the occasion despite his busy schedule and commended his charisma, popularity, and proactive promotion of Jammu & Kashmir tourism. Quoting the recent “Jab We Met” program by India Today, Mr. Sahai highlighted the CM’s personal involvement in tourism promotion—whether skiing in Gulmarg, riding snow scooters, or engaging with tourists.

He remarked, “There could be no better ambassador for the tourism of J&K than the Hon’ble Chief Minister Jenab Omar Abdullah himself. His dual role as CM and Tourism Minister is a double bonus for the region.”

Mr. Sahai also appreciated the recent budget announcements made by the Hon’ble Chief Minister, particularly the proposed Convention Centre, Water Park, and enhancement of Jamboo Zoo in Jammu, along with other tourism-focused initiatives in Kashmir.

In his concluding press statement ,He also proposed that future ICC tourism conclaves be held in either Jammu or Gulmarg, further strengthening the tourism narrative of the Union Territory.

The Aviation & Tourism Conclave 2025 served as a robust platform for dialogue, collaboration, and promotion of tourism potential across regions, with J&K emerging as a focal point of discussion and opportunity in the presence of eminent national personalities .
