Srinagar, May 6 : Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Tuesday said that efforts to catch those responsible for the recent Pahalgam attack must not impact innocent civilians in Jammu and Kashmir.

Speaking to media persons in Srinagar, CM Omar as per news agency JKNS said, “We all understand the situation here. It will take time. We must look into it so that we don’t affect the innocent people of Jammu & Kashmir in our efforts to catch those who were involved in the Pahalgam attack. We have conveyed this concern of ours.”

He urged that operations to nab the culprits be carried out with caution to avoid any hardship to the general public.

When asked about his recent meeting with the Prime Minister, the Chief Minister declined to divulge details, stating, “Keep my meet with PM as such, let it be with me what we talked about in the meeting.” (JKNS)
