Members of the Indian delegation in Qatar expressed strong support for the Indian Armed Forces and the government’s firm stance on terrorism during a special community interaction held in Doha.

The event was part of a wider diplomatic outreach led by the Nationalist Congress Party–Sharadchandra Pawar (NCP–SCP) MP Supriya Sule under the banner of Operation Sindoor.

Diaspora Backs India’s Anti-Terror Response

The community gathering marked the conclusion of the delegation’s two-day visit to Qatar, the first leg of a four-nation diplomatic mission following the April 22 Pahalgam terror attack.

During the interaction, diaspora members praised the Indian government’s decisive launch of Operation Sindoor, describing it as a clear and robust response to cross-border terrorism.

Community members echoed strong support for India’s zero-tolerance approach.

“Operation Sindoor sends a strong message that any terrorist activity originating from Pakistan will be treated as an act of war,” said one attendee.

Others applauded the government for providing transparency and for firmly confronting terrorism without hesitation.

Parliamentary Delegation Delivers Unified National Message

The Indian Embassy in Doha highlighted the event in a social media post, stating, “At an interaction with the Indian community in Doha tonight, the parliamentary delegation from India gave the message of India’s united fight against terrorism. This was the concluding program of their visit.”

The delegation, representing multiple political parties, reinforced India’s collective resolve and national consensus on combating terrorism.

The community warmly received the delegation’s inclusion of opposition leaders.

“We are proud that the Prime Minister involved leaders across party lines. One member of the Indian diaspora said the delegation sent a powerful signal that national security is a shared responsibility.

Outreach Brings Clarity And Solidarity

Community members noted that the delegation provided valuable information about Operation Sindoor and India’s security strategy. “We were informed about things we didn’t know before. It helped us understand the government’s measured and targeted response,” said another participant.

The diaspora emphasised the importance of such outreach efforts, especially during tense geopolitical times.

“It’s essential to respond strongly to terrorism so that no one dares to threaten our country again,” remarked a community leader.

Delegation Engages Qatari Leadership And Stakeholders

During their stay in Doha, the Indian MPs met with top Qatari officials, including leaders from the Shura Council and key government departments.

They also engaged with Qatari media, think tanks, and Indian community leaders, strengthening both diplomatic and people-to-people ties.

The Indian Embassy described the engagements as “fruitful” and pivotal in advancing mutual understanding and cooperation.
