Woman Critically Injured in Road Accident on Sonamarg Highway

Ganderbal, July 19, KNT: A woman was critically injured in a road accident that occurred on Saturday morning along the Sonamarg highway.

According to eyewitnesses, a motorcycle bearing registration number JK01H/7315 was hit by a dumper coming from the opposite direction, bearing number JK11C/3887. The impact of the collision left a woman, identified as Shakeela Bano, wife of Muhammad Shafi, resident of Arahama Ganderbal, severely injured.

Local residents rushed the injured woman to District Hospital Ganderbal, where she is currently undergoing treatment in a critical condition.

Police reached the spot immediately, seized the dumper along with its driver, and have registered a case. [KNT]
