Srinagar, Oct 08 (KNO): Senior National Conference leader and Minister, Javid Dar on Wednesday said that the discussion with Congress is going on and the party’s core committee will finalise the candidates for the upcoming by-election.

The Minister was replying to a query on finalising the andidature for the Budgam Assembly seat.

Speaking with reporters, per news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), Javid Dar said that the election date for bypolls was announced few days ago only. “It takes time to follow the procedures and other things and it is too early to say anything in this regard”.

“I believe the discussion with the Congress is going on and NC’s core committee will take a final call to choose candidates,” he said.

Byelection to Budgam and Nagrota Assembly seats will be held on November 11, while counting of votes will take place on November 14—(KNO)
