Jammu, January 22(GNS): After long lull, fresh gunfight resumes between terrorists and security forces in Singhpura Chatroo ares of Kishtwar district on Thursday.

Officials told GNS that after contact was lost with terrorists three days back, contact has been again established with the terrorists.

He said that intense exchange of fire with terrorists is underway.

It’s worth mentioning that three days ago an encounter broke out between terrorists and security forces in the Singhpura Chatroo area. During the firefight, one para‑trooper was killed and around half a dozen soldiers were injured. The terrorists managed to escape, and security forces had launched a massive cordon in the area to apprehend them.(GNS)
