Kishtwar, Jan 31 : Three Army jawans were injured during an ongoing encounter between terrorists and security forces in the Dolgam area of Kishtwar district on Saturday morning.

Sources told that three army jawans were injured, in ongoing operation, while 2–3 Jaish terrorists are believed to be trapped in the area.

Earlier, an encounter broke out after security forces re-established contact with terrorists in the early hours of January 31 during the joint Operation TRASHI-I. In a post on X, the White Knight Corps of the Indian Army said the operation was launched following coordinated intelligence inputs from multiple agencies.

Troops of the Indian Army, Jammu and Kashmir Police and the CRPF established a cordon in the area and initiated a search operation. “A cordon has been established and operations are in progress,” the Army said. (KNC)
