Jammu, Feb 06 (KNO): Jammu and Kashmir National Conference (JKNC) president Dr Farooq Abdullah on Friday hailed the Union Territory’s budget, calling it “amazing” and inclusive, with provisions aimed at providing relief across all sections of society.

Speaking to reporters outside the Assembly complex in Jammu, Farooq Abdullah, per the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), described the budget as “excellent,” saying it offers benefits “in every possible way.”

He said the proposals appear to address the needs of various groups and expressed hope that effective implementation on the ground would translate into tangible gains for ordinary citizens.

The Jammu and Kashmir Budget for 2026–27 was presented in the Assembly today, with a focus on infrastructure development, employment generation and welfare initiatives—(KNO)
