Jammu, Feb 11 (KNC): Minister Sakina Itoo on Wednesday strongly criticised BJP legislators over their conduct in the Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly, saying the level of disruption and behaviour witnessed in the House was unprecedented in her political career.

Speaking to reporters outside the Assembly complex in Jammu, Itoo, as per news agency Kashmir News Corner (KNC), said, “In my 20 years in this House, I have never seen the kind of misbehaviour that BJP members are displaying today. They are lying relentlessly. This is new to my experience.”

Referring to the recent exchanges in the Assembly, she said that yesterday Deputy Chief Minister Surinder Choudhary was speaking when BJP members made objectionable remarks. “Apne apna chehra dekha hain? Is this the way? How they talk?” she questioned, criticising the tone and language used during the proceedings.

The Minister further said that after three days, the Chief Minister was replying to the Budget discussion, but the opposition members created ruckus and misbehaved. She asserted that before any further proceedings, the BJP members must apologise for their conduct in the House. — (KNC)
