Assembly Pays Tributes; Two-Minute Silence Observed in Memory of Former Minister, Ex MLC

Jammu, Feb 17 (KNC): The Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly on Tuesday paid obituary reference to former Minister Peerzada Ghulam Ahmad Shah during the ongoing session in Jammu.

As per news agency Kashmir News Corner — KNC, Speaker Abdur Rahim Rather made a reference to the sad demise of the former minister, following which members of the House observed a two-minute silence as a mark of respect to the departed soul.

Meanwhile, condolences were also expressed over the sad and untimely demise of Sh. Brij Mohan Sharma, former MLC and Vice President JKNC Jammu Province. In a condolence message, it was stated, “Deeply shocked on the sad and untimely demise of Sh. Brij Mohan Sharma, Ex-MLC & Vice President JKNC Jammu Province. May the noble soul of the departed rest in peace and give strength to the family members to bear this irreparable loss.” (KNC)
