Anantnag, Feb 26,: A fire reduced a government primary school building to rubble in Malpora area of South Kashmir’s Anantnag, officials said.
The blaze erupted in the Government Primary School late at night, triggering a cylinder explosion inside the premises, which caused extensive damage to the structure.
Upon receiving the information, fire tenders and police teams rushed to the scene and managed to douse the flames before they could spread further. Reports said that no casualties or injuries were reported.
The police have started an investigation to ascertain the cause of the fire. [KNT]
