NC, Congress MLAs protest outside Assembly, seek Mehraj Malik’s release

Srinagar, Oct 23 : Ahead of the Autumn session of Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly, several legislators on Thursday held a peaceful protest, demanding release of incarcerated Doda MLA, Mehraj Malik.

According to details available with news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) several MLAs of National Conference, Congress and others carried placards today morning, seeking release of Mehraj Malik.

The protest was held outside the assembly hall in Srinagar ahead of the commencement of Autumn session

Mehraj Malik, who was booked under Public Safety Act, is lodged in Kathua central jail—(KNO)
