Budgam, July 25 (JKNS): A Special Police Officer (SPO) died of a heart attack while offering Friday prayers at the District Police Lines (DPL) Budgam.
Officials told news agency JKNS that the deceased has been identified as Mohammad Shafeeq ,(SPO) a resident of Diver Lolab in Kupwara district.
Shafeeq reportedly collapsed during prayers and was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital, where doctors declared him dead on arrival.
Cognizance of the incident has been taken and further investigation started. (JKNS)
