Landslide Blocks Kishtwar–Thathri Road, Traffic Comes to Halt

Srinagar, Aug 26 (KNC): Vehicular traffic on the Jammu–Srinagar National Highway (NH-44) was halted Tuesday morning after landslides and shooting stones occurred at several locations amid continuous rainfall.

Traffic officials as per news agency Kashmir News Corner — KNC said, the highway remains blocked, and commuters have been advised to avoid travel until the weather improves and clearance operations are completed.

Authorities have urged travelers to confirm the latest road status before planning their journey through official Traffic Control Units (TCUs).
