You can get healthy skin by consuming it or by applying it on the face. Bananas contain 4 of these vitamins that play an important role in making the skin glow. Vitamins A, B, C and E in bananas can give your face a glowing look. Vitamin A reduces wrinkles and fine lines on the skin. Vitamin C brightens your skin and evens out your skin tone. Vitamin B group eliminates acne on your skin. Bananas are rich in vitamin B-6 which heals cuts and wounds on the skin.

It contains an amino acid called tryptophan, which turns into serotonin. Serotonin helps to recover mood and reduce stress. Bananas contain vitamin C and other antioxidants, which make the skin healthy. It also has anti-ageing properties.

Consumption of Banana also improves kidney functioning, as it is rich in potassium and reduces the risk of kidney stones. The high fibre in it also prevents overeating boosts metabolism and helps in reducing weight.
