MEGA ENROLLMENT DRIVE :

Awantipora, March 2025: Marking a historic milestone in the pursuit of educational empowerment and equitable access, the Mega Enrollment Drive was ceremoniously inaugurated in Zone Awantipora under the visionary leadership of Syed Shabir Ahmad, with the esteemed presence of District Education Planning Officer Pulwama, Mr. Manzoor Ahmad Khan. This transformative initiative, meticulously designed to revitalize the public education system, witnessed an unprecedented wave of participation from students, parents, educators, and key community stakeholders, exemplifying an unwavering commitment to fostering an inclusive and dynamic educational landscape.

In a remarkable display of solidarity and organizational excellence, the Teachers Forum Zone Awantipora, under the astute leadership of Provincial President Mr. Irfan Nazir, alongside Press and Publicity Secretary Mr. Mohd Ashraf Khan, District President Pulwama Mr. Javid Jameel, Zonal President Awantipora Mr. Ab Salam Wani, Zonal President Tral Mr. Haji Irshad, Zonal President Lurgam Mr. Bashir Ahmad Wani, and a distinguished delegation of educational visionaries, extended a ceremonial and grand reception to the dignitaries and administrative officials who spearheaded this landmark educational movement.

The enrollment drive was inaugurated with an awe-inspiring rally, which became a defining moment of advocacy, mobilization, and immediate action. Not merely a symbolic demonstration, the event was a decisive step toward educational inclusion, as on-the-spot admissions were conducted, ensuring the seamless transition of a significant number of students from private institutions, Darul Ulooms, and first-time enrollees into the government schooling system.

Amplifying the grandeur of this event, a convoy of 100 vehicles accompanied the Worthy Joint Director Central, forming an unparalleled spectacle of collective resolve and institutional determination. This formidable procession reinforced the resounding message of educational reform while showcasing the collaborative efforts of the administration, educators, and community stakeholders in bridging the gap between aspiration and access.

The rally, serving as a catalyst for educational transformation, traversed through Zone Tral before reaching its culmination in Zone Lurgam, leaving an indelible imprint on the local educational discourse. The sheer magnitude of participation, fervent enthusiasm, and unwavering commitment from all stakeholders reaffirmed the critical necessity of a unified approach in strengthening the public education system.

On this momentous occasion, eminent officers and distinguished representatives of the Teachers Forum reiterated their steadfast commitment to bridging historical educational disparities between private and public institutions. Stressing the fundamental importance of community engagement, they underscored the collective moral and social responsibility of ensuring that every child—irrespective of socio-economic status—receives high-quality education that nurtures intellectual and personal growth.

The Teachers Forum Zone Awantipora, in its unwavering dedication to an educational renaissance, extends its deepest appreciation to all educators, community leaders, administrative officials, and parents whose unrelenting support made this initiative a monumental success. The Mega Enrollment Drive is set to serve as a cornerstone in the evolution of student enrollment patterns, further solidifying the government’s vision of an inclusive, progressive, and excellence-driven education sector.
